   umverkehR (say 'oomphacare') is society with a membership of 7500, an independent Ecology Advocay Organisation (EAO - Non Government Organisation).

The Swiss voters This map shows the voter participation in percent of those who have the right to vote. The participation ranges from less than 28 per cent to more than 70 per cent, depending on the geopgraphical area. Almost half of the population does not exercise their right to vote. The white areas are the unpopulated alpine regions.
