The end. We saw it coming. Or at least - we could have seen the signs. Now it's too late.
We missed our chance, if we ever had one. We're lost. Human history is over, lost in the eons of time immemorable.
What happened? How did it start? When and why did it start going wrong? Had it been avoidable or are we just part of nature, creatures that evolve and which die out when they no longer fit within the balances of the web of life?
What's the issue anyway? Well, the big die-off. In Africa, Asia and South and Middle America of course. But also in North America and Europe. No food, no water, no shelter, no nothing. The complete breakdown of structures. Riots, hunger trecks, floods, droughts, refugees, and war.
Wars have always been about resources - food, energy, water, women, luxury, space to live. On the post-peak-oil downslope...
Thank God nobody pushed the nuclear button - so far.
