In seven weeks time the Swiss will vote on a People's Initiative to reduce motorised traffic. The idea was born in 1988. In 1996 the umverkehR society had collected the required 100,000 signatures within 18 months to launch the legislative procedure. The vote will take place on 12 March 2000.
ecoglobe supports
the initiative whole-heartedly. It inspired us to launch a series of
new web pages on New Mobility. The first New Mobility pages are fully
